Grilled Salmon With Mango Salsa Recipe

Grilled salmon is what summer is all about—easy cooking, with little to no clean up! While most folks are comfortable grilling steaks, pork, and chicken, grilling fish can be a little intimidating.

Ingredients:

  • 4 8-oz. skin-on salmon fillets
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, plus more to finish
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

Step No.01

Set grill temperature to 400–450°F.

Step No.02

Evenly coat the salmon with two tablespoons of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Combine the vinegar, mustard, paprika, and the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil in a bowl. Put aside.

Step No.03

Grates should be oiling once the grill is hot enough. Lay the salmon skin side down on the grill grates and baste with the vinegar mixture. Cover and cook for approximately five minutes, or until the salmon can be gently prodded off the grill. After flipping the salmon, continue grilling it for another two to three minutes, or until it reaches the desired doneness.

Step No.04

If desired, add extra salt and parsley as garnish.
