Better than Buffalo chicken dip, this Buffalo chicken tater tot casserole tastes just like it! This meal is substantial and doesn’t require a side because of the tater tots, making it ideal for a Super Bowl gathering.
Ingredients:
- cooking spray
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (such as Campbell’s®)
- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buffalo-style hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot®)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 5 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (from 1 (3 pound) rotisserie chicken)
- 1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 6 cups frozen potato tots
- chopped scallions, for garnish
Instructions:

Compile every component. Set oven temperature to 425 F (220 C). Spray cooking spray very lightly on a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Step No.02
In a sizable bowl, thoroughly mix cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing, sour cream, spicy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. After the chicken is completely covered with ranch sauce, fold in 3/4 cup of Cheddar. Place in the baking dish that has been prepared. Add potato tots evenly on top.

Bake for about 25 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the potato tots are well cooked and golden brown with bubbling filling around the edges. Take the pan out of the oven and evenly distribute the remaining 3/4 cup Cheddar over the potato tots.
Step No.05
Go back to the oven and bake for a further five minutes, or until the cheddar has melted, at 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Add scallions as a garnish.
